CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Wilson was taking a walk on the wild side today when he went outside at the Charlotte Nature Museum's Fort Wild. The Nature Museum is located adjacent to Freedom Park in Charlotte and allows visitors to observe animals, insects and other wildlife in their natural habitat.

The young kids can enjoy the Butterfly Pavillion, the Creature Cavern, hang out in Our Big Backyard or enjoy the Paw Paw Nature Trail.  Older kids can enjoy Fort Wild where their imagination can take flight.  You can throw your favorite nature lover a birthday party or even enjoy summer camp.

This Saturday, April 26th, the Charlotte Nature Museum will hold their "A Night Out for Nature" event. Enjoy bluegrass, barbecue and blues while supporting the museum's operations and programs.  Get time and ticket information HERE.
