INDIAN TRAIL, N.C. -  Young kids always enjoy hanging out with our own big kid Wilson.  And even though the kids were excited and ready for summer, they took time to have a little fun with him and fill him in on in their "Leader in Me" program.  This is the first year of the program which has proven to be a success for both the teachers and the students.

The program is open to all of the students at the school and was created to help children to learn the 7 habits of highly effective children.  The 7 habits are incorporated into the daily routine of the students at Indian Trail Elementary.  The life style program allows the kids to take these habits with them into their daily world outside of the school also.

The kids not only talked about the program and showed some of the fruits of their labor, but also talked with Wilson about their summer plans.
