CHARLOTTE,  N.C. -  Wilson was in University City today where he was previewing today's 35th Annual Fire & Life Safety Bowl.  He found that the kids that are participating really know their stuff when it comes to fire safety.

The event is open to 4th and 5th grade students from all Mecklenburg County schools.  The kids compete in a trivia quiz contest about fire and safety not only for bragging rights and to win trophys but also monetary prizes for their schools.  The event is today beginning at 11am at the Shriners Temple, 600 Doug Mayes Place in Charlotte.
