CHARLOTTE, N.C. - When Wilson found out the Chick-fil-A at Stonecrest was renovating the restaurant, he decided to help them start the demolition a little earlier than they planned.  After aggravating customers inside the restaurant and in the drive-thru, Wilson was given an axe and began taking out the walls.

The restaurant will close at 3pm on Saturday, August 30th and re-open late September with a bigger and better Chick-fil-A to serve their guests.  Keep up with the demolition and remodel on their facebook page HERE.  You can also follow them on Twitter @CFAStonecrest.

Make sure you stop by one of the many other Chick-fil-A restaurants in Charlotte during their renovation to try all of the great chicken options for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as their great coffee.
