CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The road to the 2012 Summer Olympics  in London runs through Charlotte and of course Wilson was there to find out what was going on.  He began his day at the Grady Cole Center and then moved to Memorial Stadium talking with some of the Olympic hopefuls that are in town.  From March 8th through the 11th athletes will be competing in the five sports that make up the Modern World Cup Pentathalon World Cup Series.  More than 200 participants from over 35 countries will compete in swimming, fencing, horseback riding, running and shooting events at the Meckenburg Aquatic Center, Grady Cole Center and Memorial Stadium.  One male and one female will automatically qualify for the 2012 Olympic Summer Games.

The public is invited to come out to the qualifying events. This is a great opportunity to see some of the world's greatest Olympic athletes.  Admission is only $5.00 and kids 12 and under are free!  Get more information on the events at their website: cltworldcup.com.
