Veterans Day Parade on Saturday to Be Bigger than EverWilson Previews the Veterans Day Parade and EventsCHARLOTTE, N.C. - Veteran's Day is Thursday, November 11th and the days leading up to the big day will see a lot of celebrations and events to honor our veterans. The Freedom Foundation Breakfast to honor our veterans will be on Friday the 5th. The event will begin at 7:30am at the Blake Hotel. There is still time to get tickets. Find out more details at Carolinas Freedom Foundation. The annual Veterans Day parade on Saturday will start at 11am and with over 100 units will be twice as large as previous parades. The parade will begin at North Tryon Street and ends at Marshall Park. FOX Charlotte's own Jon Wilson will be emcee for the event. Click HERE for more information on the parade route. A wreath laying ceremony will be held on Veterans Day at the square in uptown. There ceremony will start at 11:45am. |
