CHARLOTTE, N.C. -  JJ's Red Hots in Dilworth has its grand opening on July the 4th, but Wilson was there early to check just what might become his favorite hot dog hangout.

Not your everyday restaurant or hot dog haven, JJ's Red Hots is located in the home of the old The Drum restaurant and has a flavor all its own.  Wilson could even get his own special hot dog named after him.

JJ's Red Hots opens on Wednesday to celebrate a red hot 4th of July.  They will have a marching band, free stuff for the kids and of course...lots of hot dogs.  The fun kicks off at 2pm on Wednesday at 1514 East Blvd.  They not only have great gourmet hot dogs, but other sandwiches, salads and great sides.  They also offer beverages for both kids and adults.
