CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Wilson visits Atherton Mill & Market  in Southend where he meets author Allan Karl who recently published his book  "Forks: A Quest for Culture, Cuisine and Connection."

Wilson talked with Karl about the book that covers his three-year,  60,000 mile, five-continent motorcycle ride.  Not only does the book include photos from the 35 countries he visited, but it also includes 40 recipes of some of the best food that he enjoyed on the trip.

Karl gave Wilson a few tips on how to pack for a bike trip across 3 continents.  Not an easy trick.

Rochelle Baxter with Queen City Pantry prepared one of the recipes from Karl's book.

There will be a book signing this Tuesday night, August 12th at Atherton Market as well as a cooking demo by Rochelle of some of the recipes in the book.  Stop by and talk with the author as well as taste some of the food that he enjoyed on his trip.

Lynn Caldwell of Atherton Market also joined Wilson to talk about upcoming events that will be held at Atherton Market.
