CHARLOTTE,  N.C. -  This Saturday, April 13th the 5th Annual  Forever Blue Foundation's Thin Blue Line Ride will make it's way from Rock Hill to Charlotte.  The ride honors police officers who have fallen in the line of duty.  The Forever Blue Foundation was created to help those officers' families who made the ultimate sacrifice.   Wilson talks with Jennifer Shelton, widow of officer Jeff Shelton about how life has been since she lost her husband in 2007.

The ride is not only for motorcycle riders, but for anyone who would like to come out and honor those  special officers.  The police escorted ride starts at 11:30am at Cox 's Harley Davidson of Rock Hill with the end point at Harley Davidson of Charlotte in Matthews where the bikes will begin arriving around 12:30pm.  The public is welcome to come by and cheer in the riders.  From 1pm until 4pm enjoy vendors, food & beverages, music and fun.  Get more information on both the ride and the Forever Blue Foundation at their weblinks below.
