CHARLOTTE,  N.C. -  Wilson stopped by the Humane Society of Charlotte where he met some new four legged friends and their foster parents.  And even though he's not a cat person, introduces us to a very friendly cat.

Wilson talked with Nia and her Mom who are foster parents to brother and sister puppies as part of the iFoster program.  We also meet Anna, a 12-year old talented young potter who, along with the help of potter Julie Wiggins, started "Pots for Paws" to raise money for the Humane Society .

The Humane Society is known for it's adoption, but it also has programs for fostering pets, medical needs and much, much more.  On Critter-Care Wednesdays from 10am until 2pm they offer low-cost vaccinations, just call for an appointment.  Their superdog club is a great way to help you dog become a well-mannered canine.

The Humane Society is getting ready for their 2013 Pet Palooza on April 13th at Independence Park.  This event is just one of the many that will be held throughout 2013 to raise money for the organization.  Go to the link below to find out more about the Humane Society of Charlotte and all of their events for this year.
