CHARLOTTE, N.C. -  The eleventh anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy will once again be remembered by volunteers of the Steven Coakley Foundation as they place flags outside of the Palmer Building located at 2601 East 7th Street in Charlotte.

As in past years the memorial honors those 2,997 people who lost their lives during the tragedy on September 11, 2001.  Wilson was with the volunteers as they worked to get the flags displayed.

On Tuesday, September 11th a reflective memorial will be held beginning at 8:30am.  Bells will toll at 8:46, 9:03, 9:45, 10:05, 10:10 & 10:28 along with handing out ribbons.  The memorial will also  include a replica of the Twin Towers to sign for sharing your thoughts.  A steel beam from the WTC will also be on display.
