CHARLOTTE,  N.C. -  Wilson was hanging with quite of few of Charlotte's finest from CMPD and CFD at Mattie's Diner and the NC Music Factory today.  He was previewing the upcoming Cops for a Cure Pink Lady Fire Truck Pull and looking for participants to take on the "Pink Lady."  Over 44,000 pounds of rolling fire fighting equipment, the Pink Lady not only fights fires, but it also helps fight cancer.  On April 14th CMPD's Cops 4 a Cure with join CFD in the 2nd Annual Pink Lady Fire Truck Pull.  They are looking for groups of 8 who would like to work together not only to pull the Pink Lady, but help with the battle to cure cancer.

CFD and CMPD work tirelessly not only for the safety of our community, but for our health as well.  Wilson also had the opportunity to talk with Sgt. Darrell Price about their work with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's upcoming Man and Woman of the Year Texas Hold 'Em Poker Tournament on March 30th.
