Wilson Visits Students Working Hard to Help the Red Cross
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Wilson had a great time visiting the young kids at Myers Park Traditional Elementary School and their teacher Irma Boyd to find out more about the project they are working on to help the Red Cross while learning to give back.
After enjoying a little "wiggle worming it" with the kids and getting dressed for the occasion, Wilson joined the kids as they were making the flowers that they are selling. The flower fund project is not only a project for the younger kids at the school, but older kids, parents, teachers and other employees at the school also pitch in to help.
The flowers will be on sale at the school store for only 30 minutes each day from 8:45am until about 9:15am Wednesday and Thursday and if they aren't sold out, on Friday also. Myers Park Traditional Elementary School is located at 2132 Radcliffe Ave in Charlotte.
