CHARLOTTE, N.C. -  Most people don't know realize that Father's Day was first celebrated with the help of the YMCA in 1910 in Spokane, Washington.  Today Wilson was at the Chick-fil-A in Stonecrest where the YMCA of Greater Charlotte and the restaurant are celebrating Dad a little early this week.

Spending time with Dad is always special and thanks to the Y Guides, kids can enjoy that time even more.  The Y Guides is a program that offers quality time with fathers  while the kids learn healthy choices for mind and body, building positive relationships and developing critical life skills.

Wilson talked with the kids and found out why they like being a member of the Y Guides and some of the activities they enjoy with their Dads.

Oh yeah, there also was this great shot of those tasty chicken minis...can't wait for breakfast.
