CHARLOTTE,  N.C. - Lauren Carter is a senior at Queens University of Charlotte.  She is one guest that Wilson will never forget.  During her fight with cancer Lauren was the recipient of a survivor scholarship from 24 Hours of Booty.  This scholarship helped her through not only her challenges of college, but the challenges of her fight for life.  Lauren tells Wilson how much this scholarship has meant to her.

Wilson also talked with some of the people who are holding fundraisers to help benefit the 24 Hours of Booty organization and their drive to help those fighting cancer.  Wilson previewed  The Char-Heel Classic, an upcoming event that includes a 41 and  22 mile ride as well as a 5 mile family fun ride.  We also found out that Wilson won't dress up, but he'll support this week's Jeans & Jewels Gala.

24 Hours of Booty brings together cyclists from all over to help support the fight against cancer by raising funds for Charlotte's Levine Cancer Institute, LIVESTRONG and many local charities and research.  The 24 hour bike ride has moved back to beautiful Myers Park this year the site of where the event began.
