MONROE, N.C. - Scott Safety is a local company that takes pride in their "made in America" products. Scott's manufactures fire safety equipment that is shipped to firefighters worldwide.  Wilson received a behind the scenes tour, met the employees and even tried on some of the equipment the company manufactures.

Scott Safety and its employees are very active in the community and while Wilson was there, the company presented a check to Hometown Heroes to aid in their work to help kids who suffer from terminal illness or debilitating injuries.

Wilson also had the opportunity to see just how the equipment is being utilized by the Monroe Fire Department.
