CHARLOTTE, N.C. -  Wilson loves our troops and is a big supporter of USO of North Carolina.  Today was one of his favorite days of the holiday season, Operation Exodus, when troops from Fort Jackson fly home for Christmas.  He was joined at Charlotte Douglas International Airport with Carolina Panther Jeff Byers and former Panther Mike Rucker to wish over 2,500 happy servicemen and women a Merry Christmas before they flew out.  Volunteers from organizations all around Charlotte helped make the event happen.

Wilson not only talked USO of N.C. but also Panthers, Saints and playoffs with both Jeff Byers and Mike Rucker.  He even read a letter to Santa from little Kay.

Also giving a big send off to the troops was Dana Bradley, President of The Patriot Charities, who presented a $25,000 check to John Falkenbury, USO of N.C. President.

You can help the USO of N.C. by purchasing a bag of Wilson's "Rock, Roll and Rise" coffee.  It makes a great Christmas stocking stuffer.  Wilson teamed up with Magnolia Coffee to create his coffee and help the USO.  100% of the proceeds go to USO of N.C.  You can find out more about the coffee and where to purchase it HERE.

The Patriot Charities raises funds for wounded warriors and their families and works closely with USO of North Carolina.  Both of these organizations are great ways to donate your time to show our military how you appreciate their dedication to our country.

Today is a good day for the soldiers going home, but every day is a great day to tell them thank you!
