UNDATED (AP) — A person familiar with the contract tells The Associated Press that Tom Brady has received a three-year extension from the New England Patriots worth about $27 million. The 35-year-old two-time league MVP was signed through 2014, and has said he wants to play five more years. By redoing his contract Monday, Brady also has cleared nearly $15 million from New England's salary cap.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o (MAN'-ty TAY'-oh) posted a disappointing 4.82 seconds in the 40-yard dash at the NFL combine. It was the first time back on the field for the Heisman Trophy runner-up since the BCS championship game and comes more than a month after Te'o's highly-publicized online romance with a girlfriend was exposed as a hoax in which Te'o was the victim.
UNDATED (AP) — Indiana received 64 of 65 first-place votes and remains No. 1 in the men's AP college basketball poll for a fourth consecutive week. Gonzaga got the other first-place vote and is No. 2 for the first time in school history. Duke, Michigan and Miami round out the top 5.
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — The Oklahoma City Thunder have signed veteran Derek Fisher, filling an opening for a third point guard that was created when Eric Maynor got traded to Portland. Fisher joins Oklahoma City for the stretch run for the second straight season. He has not played in the NBA this season after being unsigned as a free agent during the offseason.
