CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — The Charlotte Bobcats have hired Bill Duffy as the team's permanent chief financial and administrative officer.

Duffy had filled the CFO role the past year on an interim basis while working for the Atlanta-based Aspire Group after Michael Behrman resigned.

Tuesday's move leaves Duffy in charge of the finance, human resources, legal, information technology and arena administration departments for Bobcats owner Michael Jordan.

Duffy has worked for franchises in the NBA, NFL and NHL.
