(CHARLOTTE, NC)- Fourth overall NBA draft pick Cody Zeller can't wait to get started playing basketball for the Charlotte Bobcats.

Learning from assistant coach Patrick Ewing is an added bonus!

Our own Brandon Davidow goes 1-1 with Zeller to talk about his draft night nerves, the impact the new coaching staff will have on his development, and which Bobcats player he is most excited to team up with next season.

Zeller, who played in 72 career games in two seasons at Indiana, is the school’s career leader in field goal percentage (.591).  For his career, he averaged 16.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.2 blocks and 1.2 steals in 29.0 minutes.

As a freshman in 2011-12, Zeller was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year, Second Team All-Big Ten and Honorable Mention AP All-American, while also being named a Freshman All-American by Yahoo, Sporting News and the USBWA.  In his first season with the Hoosiers, he averaged 15.6 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.4 steals, 1.3 assists and 1.2 blocks in 28.5 minutes, while leading the Big Ten and ranking fourth nationally in field goal percentage (.623).
