NC State hires Moxley as assistant coach

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — North Carolina State has hired Rob Moxley as an assistant coach.

Moxley served as an assistant at Middle Tennessee last year and had served as associate head coach at Charlotte for five seasons under Bobby Lutz (loots), who has also joined Mark Gottfried's staff. Moxley spent 12 years with the 49ers overall and also spent a year as an assistant at Maryland.

Gottfried called Moxley "a phenomenal recruiter" in a statement from the school.

Lutz and Moxley join Orlando Early as assistants to Gottfried, who replaced Sidney Lowe as coach.
