Duke extends contract of AD Kevin WhiteDURHAM, N.C. (AP) — Duke has given athletic director Kevin White a contract extension through the 2018-19 school year. The school announced the extension Wednesday. Terms were not made public, as is customary at the private school. The deal expires June 30, 2019. The 62-year-old White came to Duke in 2008 from Notre Dame, and since his hiring three Blue Devils teams — including the 2010 men's basketball team — have won national championships. White says he is "deeply committed" to Duke for the long term. |
