Dufner leads Zurich Classic by 2 shots after 67


AVONDALE, La. (AP) — Jason Dufner shot a 5-under 67 to take a two shot lead over Graham DeLaet after three rounds of the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.

Ernie Els and John Rollins are three shots back of Dufner, who enters the final round at 17 under and looking for his first PGA tour victory in 163 career starts.

Ryan Palmer tied the course record with an 8-under par 64 to lead a group of three players at 13 under.

Second-ranked Luke Donald is 12 under and tied for eighth. He needs a solo finish of seventh or better to regain the top spot in the World Golf Rankings.

Defending champion Bubba Watson, playing in his first tournament since winning the Masters, shot a 65 and is at 9-under par for the tournament.
