MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) — The NGA Pro Golf Tour has partnered with the PGA Tour's Reno-Tahoe Open to send the small tour's top member on the money list into the PGA Tour event in August.

NGA Tour president Robin L. Waters thanked the Reno-Tahoe Open for giving a member of his tour an opportunity to play in golf's major series.

Waters said past NGA Tour players have won the Reno-Tahoe Open the past eight years. That includes last year's champion, Scott Piercy.

The Reno-Tahoe Open will take place from Aug. 2-5 at the Montreux Golf & Country Club in Reno, Nev.
