Woods goes nowhere in Honda ClassicPALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. (AP) — Instead of making a move, Tiger Woods was stuck in neutral Saturday at the Honda Classic. Woods never found a tee shot plugged into the bank below the 17th green and made double bogey. After saving par from a foul ball into the grandstands, he signed for an even-par 70 and was toward the bottom of the pack. Woods he lost momentum on the 10th hole when he had mud on his ball and his shot went into a bunker, leading to bogey. He only had a few reasonable birdie chances after that and failed to break par for the third straight round at PGA National. It also was bad news for Golf Channel. Barring a weather delay, Woods will finish both weekend rounds before TV coverage comes on. |
