MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (AP) — Two Myrtle Beach golf clubs are hosting the 2014 PGA championship for club professionals.
The PGA announced the Dunes Club and the Grande Dunes Resort Club have been selected to host the annual PGA Professional National Championship.
The event features 312 PGA club pros from around the country.
They will compete for the Walter Hagen Cup. The top 20 finishers are invited to the following year's PGA Championship at the Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Ky.
The Dunes Golf and Beach Club was designed in 1948 by Robert Trent Jones Sr.. It will be the primary host course. The Dunes Club will undergo renovations this summer.
The Grande Dunes Resort Club will also be played on the first two days of the event.
