CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Senior Diamond Cherry is varsity captain for Independence High School. Cherry not only excels in sports but also in academics. She's currently class president and on the National Honor Society. Outside of school she volunteers at Second Harvest Food Bank and does elementary mentoring.
