South Carolina Football Player Dies After PracticeLAMAR, S.C.--A high school football player in South Carolina collapsed and died following a weekend practice. It happened at Lamar High School in Darlington County. The team was only on the field for an hour or so and were not wearing pads. The coroner has not released the rising ninth grader's cause of death. The district is making sure the hydration policy was followed. |
