He currently holds Highland School of Technology's record for fastest 5K overall time and best finish at Regional and State Championships. Thomas plays for the tennis, swimming and cross-country teams. Off the field, he participates in the school's Future Business Leaders of America club and is a member of Sue Myrick Youth Advisory Council.
