CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) — North Carolina quarterback Bryn Renner is looking comfortable in new coach Larry Fedora's offense, though the Tar Heels coaches are pushing him to run the no-huddle attack even faster.

Renner leads the Atlantic Coast Conference with 11 touchdown passes and has thrown for 684 yards in the past two games, a program record for most passing yards in consecutive games.

Renner said he's learning with every new rep in Fedora's offense, though offensive coordinator Blake Anderson says he wants to see Renner pushing the offense to snap the ball even quicker. Anderson said Renner was holding the ball too long earlier this season, but the junior has improved by making better decisions and avoiding pressure from defenders.

The Tar Heels (2-2) face Idaho at home this weekend.
