WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (AP) — Wake Forest's huge freshman class needs senior C.J. Harris to take it where it wants to go — both literally and figuratively.
None of the seven freshmen have cars, so they rely on Harris and junior Travis McKie to shuttle them around town.
They're also counting on the lone scholarship senior to carry them back to relevance in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
Harris is the voice of experience on a team loaded with newcomers. He's the only person on the roster who has played in the NCAA tournament, starting 21 games as a freshman on the team that advanced to the second round in 2010.
Harris on Wednesday called that appearance "a big tease" and says it's his goal to bring the Demon Deacons back.
