CHARLOTTE,NC--The majority of people in a new CMPD phone survey find Charlotte a safe place to live.
87% believe crime fighting prevention strategies are working in their neighborhoods.
However, there's still growing concern about burglaries and violent crimes.
An outside company conducted a survey between May and June, before the six murders in six days.
