Charlotte, NC - Voters will decide whether CMS or CPCC can use hundreds of millions of tax payer dollars. County commissioners approved two $200 million bonds for each. They're letting voters decide who gets most of the $300 million in bonds. Charlotte Mecklenburg schools is competing for $290 million. Central Piedmont Community College wants $210 million. CMS says the bonds would pay for 22 projects over the next seven years. Early voting has already started in Mecklenburg. The primary election day is September 10.
