Police Arrest Serial Robber In Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, NC– Police arrested a man for his involvement in five different robberies around the Charlotte area.

Authorities say Dustin Andrew Washington, robbed Dollar General on Plaza Road, Family Dollar on Sharon Amity Road, Family Dollar on The Plaza Road, CVS on The Plaza and Hardee’s on WT Harris Boulevard.

Evidence from the crimes led to Washington’s arrest Thursday, upon completion of an interview Washington was charged with two counts of armed robbery and three counts of common law robbery.

This investigation is still ongoing.
