CMPD Identifies Man Killed In Charlotte’s Latest Homicide

The Latest:

Police have identified the man killed in Charlotte’s latest homicide.  Investigators say 22-year-old Hinyse Bittle was found shot to death inside a vehicle on The Plaza near Barringer Drive on April 15th.

This is Charlotte’s 39th homicide to date.

No arrests have been made in the case.  Anyone with information on this homicide is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is conducting a homicide investigation after a man was found shot to death in east Charlotte, on Monday morning.

On Monday, April 15th, 2019, at about 8:20 a.m., CMPD officers responded to a call in the 65oo block of The Plaza near Barringer Drive.

Arriving officers located a man in a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound.  MEDIC pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
