Five Charged Following Armed Robbery In South Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Five young adults have been arrested after police say they robbed two victims at gunpoint in south Charlotte Monday afternoon.

According to the CMPD, the five suspects allegedly robbed two Hispanic victims at gunpoint around 3:15 p.m. on Sharon Lakes Road near Sharon Road West.

The CMPD’s Aviation Unit arrived to assist and quickly located the suspects fleeing the area at a high rate of speed in a white Toyota Camry.

Helicopter officers were able to provide locations and directions to ground units pursuing the vehicle until patrol units converged on the vehicle and stopped it.

All five suspects were detained and arrested on the following charges:

Se’Jour Christopher Frederick, 19, has been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of stolen property.

Nathaniel Williams II, 20, has been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of stolen property.

Brandon Dequris Foster, 18, has been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of stolen property.

Christian Jahmyhal Smith,18, has been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon, attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of stolen property.

Brandon Davion Ellison, 18, has been charged with conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of stolen property.
