Dr. Frank Gaskill is a child psychologist who treats children who are autistic. He says people on the spectrum are more sensitive to taste, smell and sound. Searchers have been playing recordings of the six-year-old's parents calling to him.
Alexandra Elich joined the WCCB News @ 10 team as a reporter in December 2017. She’s a Midwestern gal born and raised, thrilled to be storytelling in the Queen City! Alexandra’s passion is people, she will talk to anyone willing to share their story.
Before joining WCCB Charlotte, Alexandra was a reporter at WSBT in South Bend, Indiana. She was a morning reporter there for two years, waking up at 3am for live reports. While in South Bend, Alexandra dove into the complexities of the growing opioid epidemic from every angle. A topic she continues to be fascinated by.
Alexandra graduated with a degree in in Journalism from the University of Illinois Champaign-Ubrana. During her time there, she had multiple internships including NBC Sports in Chicago, WCIA in Champaign, and worked as a Big Ten Network StudentU Sideline reporter. She also won a Silver Circle Honors Award Student Emmy for producing a piece on a horrific car accident impacting students in her hometown.
In her free time, Alexandra loves to volunteer, workout, read…and of course–Explore the Queen City. She’ll get on the Panther’s bandwagon, but plans on staying loyal to her Chicago Cubs , Bulls & Blackhawks.
