CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Goodbye NC Music Factory, hello AvidX Music Factory.
Payment software firm AvidXchange acquired the naming rights for the Music Factory, where it is building a new headquarters. Mayor Jennifer Roberts announced the name change on Thursday, one of many changes coming to the complex.
AvidXchange revealed that it will lease an extra 25,000-35,000 square feet in the area this year as it expands in the area.
The company’s first headquarters buildings, a six-story structure, will reportedly be complete in April 2017.
Charlotte City Council recently approved a new hotel and an office complex to be added to the Music Factory with Avidxchange.
