Prep your N Charlotte Toyota for your school commute
Toyota of N Charlotte can help you prep your car for school
School has jumped back into session, which means if you’re a parent, your life just got a whole lot busier. Toyota of N Charlotte is here to help! We may not be able to take on carpool duties for you or pack lunches and find missing homework, but we DO have tips to help you organize and prep your car to make your school commute a whole lot simpler. Let’s get started!
Use our N Charlotte Toyota tips to prep your car for school time
Tip #1: Organize your glovebox! You’ll be on the road more with drop-off, pick-up, practices, and more. This means you need to have all of your important documents within arm’s reach. You’ll want to include a small folder with your registration, insurance information, and emergency contact info. That way if you get pulled over or get into an accident in your N Charlotte Toyota, you’ll have what you need easily accessible.
Tip #2: Clean your car! Your passengers (and you) will appreciate a clean, good-smelling car when you’re spending so much time behind the wheel. Detail your N Charlotte Toyota inside and out; not only will this make your drive time more pleasant, it’ll also ensure your car has a longer life (you’re protecting it from stains, the outside elements, and more).
Tip #3: Invest in a first aid kit. Did you know you can actually buy a first aid kit when you buy your new Toyota from our N Charlotte Toyota dealership? Some of our cars even come with them on deck. You should keep a basic kit with bandages, antibiotic cream, cleaning solution, and aspirin or Tylenol in your car so you don’t have to make extra stops for bumps and bruises!
Tip #4: Stock up on snacks. It’s always smart to have non-perishable snacks on hand when you’re running carpool in your new Toyota near Charlotte. The kids are bound to be hungry on the way home, so keeping crackers, pretzels, cookies, etc. on hand can keep the whining to a minimum! You can invest in a seat pocket organizer to store them, or stick them in a cargo tote in the back of your N Charlotte Toyota car for easy access.
Stock up on much-needed supplies for a smooth commute!
Tip #5: Organize your trunk or cargo area. This may include outfitting your car with a cargo net to keep things from rolling around, as well as a cargo area liner that’s waterproof to help protect the interior from muddy cleats. You might also consider investing in cargo totes to keep supplies and gear organized in the car for easy access on busy days!
One other tip – keep a trash holder in your N Charlotte Toyota! You can put a plastic bag inside of a plastic cereal container to keep trash contained, and then just change out the bag when it’s full!
