Protests Turn Violent In Uptown Charlotte | PHOTOS
Protests turned violent Wednesday evening in Uptown Charlotte one day after police shot and killed a man in northeast Charlotte.
Keith Lamont Scott was shot and killed on Tuesday by police. Β Protesters took to the streets Tuesday evening in the University area. Β Protesters blocked roads, were seen looting and damage property.
Wednesday, protesters were also seen blocking roads, damaging and looting numerous businesses in Uptown. Β One man was shot in the head during the protests. Β He is currently in critical condition.
Police and the SBI are investigating that shooting.
