Protests Turn Violent In Uptown Charlotte | PHOTOS

Protests turned violent Wednesday evening in Uptown Charlotte one day after police shot and killed a man in northeast Charlotte.

Keith Lamont Scott was shot and killed on Tuesday by police.  Protesters took to the streets Tuesday evening in the University area.  Protesters blocked roads, were seen looting and damage property.

Wednesday, protesters were also seen blocking roads, damaging and looting numerous businesses in Uptown.  One man was shot in the head during the protests.  He is currently in critical condition.

Police and the SBI are investigating that shooting.
