CHARLOTTE, N.C. — CMS Superintendent Heath Morrison will resign from the district. Β
Morrison became the Superintendent in 2012 after Dr. Peter Gorman resigned. Β Morrison was previously the superintendent for Washoe County School District in Reno, Nevada. Β
Officials are not saying why Morrison is resigning. Β However, this announcement comes after a closed door meeting was held Friday by the CMS School Board in reference to ‘personal issues.’ Β
