CONCORD, N.C. – A former Concord youth pastor, charged with sexual abuse, is a free man. Robert “Bobby” Price Junior has posted a $120,000 bond.

Cops picked him up at Charlotte-Douglas International Monday after he returned from a two year mission trip to Nicaragua. A 2011 civil lawsuit accuses price of molesting a 12-year-old boy while he was working at King’s Way Baptist Church in Concord. The lawsuit also accuses the church of helping pay for the trip overseas so price could avoid arrest. The civil lawsuit against price was resolved in 2012.

Price’s brother Rusty is currently a pastor at King’s Way, which has been renamed Church At The Way.Their father served as pastor during the time of the alleged sexual abuse. The church released this statement: “We certainly pray for all parties involved and trust our judicial system in the resolution of this situation.”
