CHARLOTTE, N.C. – An army couple in Belmont is getting a huge thank you for their service and sacrifice. 20 Home Depot and United Way volunteers showed up to build a new wheelchair ramp for Joyce and Skip Oglebie. Their son nominated them for Home Depot’s celebration of service campaign. The couple couldn’t believe it when crews put up a new pole for their American flag. More than 9000 Home Depot associates are participating in the celebration of service program. They’re remodeling homes for 350 veterans around the country.
