Teenager Arrested After Fatal South Charlotte Crash

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –Police made an arrest in a south Charlotte crash that killed a woman and seriously injured another adult and three children. 

Investigators have charged 18-year-old Uriel Eduardo Flores with hit and run and involuntary manslaughter.  He is accused of leaving the scene of the crash after a car hit a telephone pole on Sharon Road West near Hopeton Road Wednesday evening. 

The driver of the car, Shaquise Bush was killed.  Her passenger and three children in the vehicle were seriously injured.  Police say the preliminary investigation suggests that speed was a contributing factor in the crash.
