SHELBY, N.C. — Police arrested two people after they found a man dead inside a home in Shelby.Β Investigators say they received an anonymous tip about a man that with a warrant for his arrest was at a home on Vermont Ave.Β
When police arrived, they found Jesse Hopes and Simms Wilson standing near a deceased male.Β The victim has been identified as Earl Hall.Β Hoppes has been charged with murder and possession of a firearm by a felon.Β
Wilson has been charged with accessory after the fact of a felony.Β Both suspects are in jail with no bond.
