14 People Arrested In North Charlotte Drug Round-Up

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — CMPD and the U.S. Attorney’s Office say they arrested 14 people during a drug and gun roundup in Charlotte.

Seven of the suspects are facing federal charges and the other seven are facing state charges.  Investigators say they seized 10 firearms, including two loaded SKS rifles and stolen firearms brought into North Carolina from other states.

The arrests are the result of a four-month investigation targeting drug trafficking and violent crime around the Sugar Creek and Interstate 85 corridor.
