CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Outbreaks of flooding, snowstorms, tornadoes and record high temperatures over the weekend made for a bizarre mix of weather extremes over the holiday season.  Shoppers in Oklahoma City had to deal with ice falling from store buildings.  Over the weekend a tornado in Arkansas killed one woman and injured others while flooding in Kentucky killed 5 people.  Parts of the central plains will find the temperature up to 25 degrees colder but on Sunday New York City had a record breaking temperature of 70 degrees despite severe weather warnings upstate.
