CHARLOTTE, NC–Bobcats head coach, Steve Clifford, went to the hospital last night after not feeling well.
Bobcats President of Basketball Operations Rod Higgins today released the following statement:
Bobcats Head Coach Steve Clifford went to the hospital last night after not feeling well. As a precaution, he was held overnight and is undergoing additional tests this morning. His status for tonight’s game will be determined later today.
After testing doctors decided to place two stents in Clifford’s heart, “He is resting comfortably and is expected to rejoin the team soon,” says Higgins.
