CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Ditch the store bought popcorn and make your own with this healthy recipe!

Mom blogger Brittany Dixon has what you need to make your homemade popcorn a hit!

It takes less than two minutes.

Use a quarter cup of popcorn kernals. Toss them in a half a teaspoon of oil and pour them in a brown paper bag. Fold the top over 2-3 times and microwave for 1:30-2 minutes. Wait until there are 5 seconds between pops.

Open and pour the bag into a bowl, add toppings and enjoy!
