Christmas Tree Stolen From Charlotte Fire Station

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Firefighters working to extinguish a three-alarm fire at an apartment complex returned back to the station to find their Christmas tree was gone. Capt. Shawn Royall told WCCB, firefighters from station 23 paid for the tree with money out of their pocket. The tree was placed outside of their station on East W.T. Harris Boulevard.

Capt. Royall said when they returned last night the tree was gone. They don’t know who took the tree but say it had to be stolen during the time they left and returned.
